Listing of Yoga Classes

60 minutes: Varies

Yoga Classes are held at 111 S Durbin, in the basement.  Current classes offered are:

Monday morning 5:30am classes are an easy sunrise flow class helping to slowly ease into the morning with a positive focus.  Expect to energize the body with strengthening poses while incorporating balance and flexibility.  We will connect one breath per movement as we practice the mind-body-breath connection.
 

Tuesday evening classes alternate weekly between Yin* and Yin-Vinyasa** classes.  Classes are held from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm.  Class fees are $12.50-$15.00 per class depending on drop-in or punch pass purchase.

Saturday classes are YogaFit classes from July through November each year. This class combines yoga poses, light weights, and cardio bursts to give a high energy strength and flexibility workout.

Saturday's Yoga for Golfers begins the first Saturday of February and  held at the Casper Country Club. Classes continue depending upon attendance through the month of May. Class times are 6:30 am-7:30 am and from 8:00am-9:00am. The class fee is $20.00/Class.

Chair Dance Yoga classes are offered Monday mornings from 9-10am at 2948 Hogan Drive.  This class utilizes a chair for balance and stability.  The goal of chair dance yoga is to improve mobility, flexibility, and balance, while including music  and dance routines using the support of a chair.  Classes are $10 per class.

*Yin yoga is slow-paced yoga where the poses are held for 3-5 minutes or longer. The long held poses moderately stress the ligaments, tendons, and fascia. This aids in increasing circulation in the joints and helps increase flexibility.  The muscles tissue is purposely inactive which allows deep work of  the connective tissue. 
**Yin-vinyasa yoga begins with one or two yin poses and slowly builds in pace and movement eventually working into a flow practice connecting breath to movement for the bulk of the practice. The class ends with one or more long-held yin poses for the cool down.

Swedish Massage

60 minutes: $120.00

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Deep Tissue Massage

60 minutes: $120.00
90 minutes: $180.00

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Ashiatsu Massage

60 minutes: $120.00

Ashiatsu is a massage where the therapist uses their feet rather than hands to deliver a deep, relaxing massage.  The pressure is adjusted to the client's preference and is a great alternative to traditional deep tissue massage.  This massage includes myofascial release and slow-gliding strokes.

Pregnancy Massage

60 minutes: $120.00

Pregnancy Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women. Pregnancy is a time when a woman's body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, Pregnancy Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the relief of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, and improved breathing and relaxation.  The massage is administered with the client side lying for comfort and safety.
